After a gaming laptop, Xiaomi will launch a new gaming phone

Xiaomi, a Chinese mobile manufacturer company recently launched its gaming laptop in China and might also launch in foreign countries, but it’s still unclear. While Xiaomi’s laptop was getting, all the spotlight looks like now the spotlight will shift to its gaming phone which is developing.

Reports surfaced that Xiaomi is stepping up its game and venturing into the gaming market with gaming phones and laptops and looks like it’s true.

Black Shark Technologies, a newly formed smartphone manufacturing company, funded by Xiaomi, is soon going to launch a gaming smartphone. Now, the phone’s specifications have been leaked online, which is in line with the previous leak.

The smartphone is said to be available in three memory configurations

1.     6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage

2.     8GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage

3.     8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage.

The company has already confirmed that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 845 processor, which might not be the latest but has been used by various flagship devices that were launched earlier. The smartphone is said to be powerful enough for gaming for hours without any disturbance.

Further, the report suggests that the phone will also support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. Though they have given the Quick Charging support, it might take regular timing to charge or might save a little bit of your time while charging quick.

When we see via Specifications-wise, the smartphone seems very much similar to the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S launched earlier this week. Xiaomi’s MI MIX 2S has been receiving praises due to its beautiful design and in this gaming smartphone there’s something special that is on the back of the phone, the company’s Black Shark branding will be there.

The device is expected to be running on Android 8.0 (Oreo) operating system out-of-the-box. While there is no more information available at this time regarding the phone’s display, the phone might come with a 120Hz screen to compete with the Razer Phone that was released last year. Razer phone right now is having a stronghold in the mobile gaming market.

As of the phone’s launch, the phone is expected to get launched ahead of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone — Mi 7. The phone, which will go on sale in the first half of this year, and if lucky we could get to try this fantastic phone even next month. But if Xiaomi launches it in India via flash sales then we might have to grind our teeth as buying in flash sale is not a piece of cake.

Last week, the company had revealed that the phone would come with “Shark Space” — a feature that is similar to the Game Centre feature. Recently, Black Shark’s chief executive officer announced a lucky draw contest in which the company will select three lucky winners on 30th March who will then receive Black Shark gaming smartphone.

The company recently signed a cooperation agreement with JD.com for sales and promotions. Apart from Black Shark, ASUS and ZTE’s Nubia is also expected to launch a gaming smartphone.
