We have to wait for few months more for the Resident Evil 2 remake, but Capcom has given a little Halloween gift once the remake rolls out. The company announced that the classic costumes for Leon and Claire will be unlockable in the game for free.
The pack will feature various classic costumes for both Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, which you can see in the trailer below. They should be unlocked right from the get-go, without you having to do any running around to unlock them.

Both also have a Noir costume for that smoky old-school look. All of those are included in both the Deluxe and Collector's Editions, which come with a few different goodies. The Deluxe includes an exclusive pistol and additional music options, while the CE has all that plus some physical items: a 12-inch Leon statue, art book, and RPD renovation blueprints.
The Resident Evil 2 remake is expected to release on January 25, 2019. The game will launch on the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. A deluxe edition for the game is also available for pre-order, boasting even more additional costume sets and the original soundtrack.
