Two New  Pokémon Games headed for Switch

Experience Pokémon journey in a whole new way this year

Few days earlier the whole internet was overflowing with a rumor of new Pokémon games called Pokémon: Let’s Go,Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! integrated with Pokémon GO  And now these rumors have turned into a reality since The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have announced new Pokémon games for the Nintendo Switch.

The Pokémon Company recently announced on twitter that Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! are soon going to be launched this year on 16th November. As rumored these new games will be integrated with Pokémon Go and players will return to Kanto region. The games will have Pokémon Go mechanism to some extent with involve physically throwing Poké Balls at them using the Joy-Con’s motion controls. However, the battle, trading exploration systems haven’t changed and in addition Pokémon’s are transferrable between new games and Pokémon GO. Players will also be able to play with their friends on switch viatwo sides of Joy-Con controller, allowing two players to traverse the region together at the same time.

“I wanted to bring the fun of this more intuitive, as well as widely accepted and popular, Pokémon-catching gameplay, right back to the Pokémon main series RPGs,” said director Junichi Masuda, one of the original developers, at the reveal event in Tokyo, Japan.

“Not only have we managed to make these titles great entry games for those who are new to the Pokémon RPG series, but at the same time really provide a new and fresh experience that fans of the series will enjoy.”
